Find Your Web Site's IP Address
Solution
If you need to know the IP address for your web site, follow these steps.
1. In Windows 2000/XP, click the Start button, and then go to Run.
2. Type: cmd
And then push 'OK' or hit Enter.
Note: For older versions of Windows, you may need to type: command
3. Now at the prompt, type: ping YourDomainName.com
And then hit Enter.
4. Your computer will now ping your web site, and it will show you the IP it replies from. This is your web site IP.
Alternate method:
1. Many web sites offer tools to ping web sites. We recommend you visit:
