Solution Please note that our Windows FTP servers require Passive Mode to be enabled in your FTP client. If you are having problems connecting or listing directory contents, then it is likely that Passive Mode is not enabled in your FTP client. The exact way to enable this will be specific to your chosen software, so you should check the documentation which comes with your software for further details.

If you are using FileZilla 2.x, you can find this option in the Site Manager, by selecting a site and clicking on the Advanced button. In FileZilla 3.x, you can globally select the transfer mode by using the Settings -> Connection menu.
